Since I was a child, I’ve always had a creative intuition and was drawn to the arts because it felt right to me. Art was purely a fun and different way to jump into a world that was inside my head. This also allowed me to bring those ideas to life on canvas. My mom put my twin sister and I into art classes when we were just three years old, and it was the most magical experience ever.

I knew then that this was my path. As I went through different stages of my life, I created my art based on what I learned, my personal experiences, and what I was feeling at the time. This still stands true today. I experimented with several different art mediums, techniques and styles during high school and college. During these years I was heavily influenced by the iconic Bob Ross and was determined to paint gorgeous landscapes like him.

Although I came up with beautiful pieces, I surprised myself some years later by suddenly wanting to paint portraits. After a few tries, I realized that painting portraits of women was my ultimate passion. Not only is it a privilege to paint someone’s story but it allows me to reveal a different side about that individual, such as their essence. This is really exciting to me, because I have the opportunity to connect with my clients the way that my intuition tells me to do so, through painting.

I paint my best work when my mood and spirit are uplifted and happy. In the way that art gives me joy, Earth’s beauty can move me in the same manner. I love and appreciate gorgeous sunsets, bright colorful gardens and soothing tranquil oceans. Nature is my inspiration and I like to incorporate how it makes me feel, into my portraits, to amplify the beauty of the women that I paint. I like to add to my work the things that bring me mindfulness and peacefulness, making my portraits all the more special to me.

My studio is based in Los Angeles, CA where I am currently working on my next projects. California’s beautiful locations and weather have also inspired my paintings in many ways. In 2016, I graduated from California State University Northridge and earned my BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in oil painting. After the completion of my degree, my paintings were presented and well received at multiple community art shows in Tarzana and Northridge, including a show for a private residence in San Fernando.
